In 2005, AFG Excellence Foundation was proud to sponsor the unique Music and Dance film, Butterfly Lovers. This seminal work is a synthesis of famous Chinese violin concerto 'Butterfly Lovers' with choreography inspired by Chinese martial arts and modern dance.
The production represents a superlative collaboration of celebrated artists from East and West. 'The love story of Liang Shang Bo and Zhu Ying Tai's is preformed by international Japanese violin virtuoso Takako Nishizaki, renowned Chinese Choreographer and dancer Dou Dou, dancer Ding Yue Hong, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra under the baton of James Judd, all under the direction of prominent Finnish Director Marikke Hakola.
